Opportunity for the Post-Pandemic World

Opportunity Of The Post Pandemic World

Facing an Uncertain Post-Pandemic Landscape

As Indigenous communities face an uncertain post-crisis Pandemic landscape, we must remember three things:

  1. Our crisis began when we were relegated to a reservation and the children of the Indigenous Communities were forced into Residential Schools. They were forbidden to speak their language and told they needed to be civilized.
  2. The Indigenous People did not fully recover from this cultural attack. The only power that kept them strong is their ancestral traditional culture which could not be obliterated from their heart. They could not be assimilated. The damage done is repairable with the ancestral culture and traditions. It all starts with the greatest spiritual act – the act of setting goals and visions.

  3. We must remember and recall Albert Einstein’s encouragement that “In the midst of every crisis, lies great opportunity”:

Coping To Competing

As the Indigenous People live in a mindset of coping, this Program will move them to a mindset of competing and exceling because they will unfreeze the ancestral teachings of the Elders and with the traditions they will overcome all obstacles. Then these communities will view themselves as inter-connected systems that experiment, learn, grow and sometimes even fail. Their resilience and their flexibility are integrated and has been developed in defending themselves against the oppression of the people that put them on reserves.

This EBMA Program is the opportunity in the midst of crisis and this Pandemic will start the new process and prepare themselves to meet headlong any future crisis. We know the world will invariably change again. This Program is eternal, is based on consciousness, mind and body and in its wholeness, it is invincible. The spirit of the People is invincible and cannot be conquered.
